Say hello to the only monster who would rather be on a bed, than under one.

The Sleep Monster Story

From the darkest corners where mysteries lie, an ancient riddle begins. Just moments before sleep, the shadows stir—lights flicker, the clock ticks, the fan spins, and the faucet drips. Deeper into sleep you drift, unaware of a small sound… ting. Perhaps it’s a book falling, clothes slipping from a hook, or a mouse dropping a cracker. But tonight, it’s something else. Beneath the bed, among old socks, toys, candy wrappers, and a few gooey things, two eyes flash—the night’s ancient activities have begun.

Hi, I’m David Jablonski, one of the authors of Sheldon the Sleep Monster. Thank you so much for visiting the site and for picking up the book / audiobook. I hope Sheldon’s adventure brings you a few smiles, a little wonder, and maybe even makes bedtime a bit more magical.

Since the dawn of mankind we have closed our weary eyes and settled our tired bodies into a place called home, always blind to the company with which we stay. From the dull caves of our forefathers, to the mighty castles of the Middle Ages, and all the way to the civilized neighborhoods of today. They have lived among us, caught in the shadows of coexistence, a harmless unseen creature, the “Monster” under the bed. Until now.
